The World’s Oldest Dog Celebrates His 31st Birthday.

According to the Guinness World Records, Bobi turned 31 on May 11. His birthday celebration took place at his owner’s home in a village in southern Portugal on May 13. The party was organized in traditional Portuguese style, attended by around 100 guests.

Bobi, a Rafeiro do Alentejo from Portugal, has been trained to protect livestock. One of the key factors contributing to Bobi’s longevity is his “quiet, peaceful living environment.” He has never been chained or leashed. This dog is also described as “very sociable,” never feeling lonely because he grew up alongside many other animals.
