I would have given anything if only Franek hadn’t been born prematurely. He came into the world tiny, fragile, and defenseless—completely unprepared for life outside the womb. But fate had other plans, and that moment of joy we had long awaited was immediately shadowed by fear and uncertainty. Every heartbeat, every breath, every small movement became a source of worry for us, his parents.
From the very beginning, we dreamed of holding him, smelling his little scent, and feeling the warmth of his tiny body in our arms. We had waited so long for this moment, but Franek arrived two months early, and with his early birth came challenges we had never imagined. The joy of his arrival was mixed with terror for his survival. His delicate, premature body was unready for the world, and from the very first moments, Franek had to fight for his life.

The first days were terrifying. Franek had to undergo two complex surgeries immediately after birth, each carrying immense risks. Even after the procedures, his tiny body faced a relentless onslaught of life-threatening conditions. He endured severe sepsis five separate times, and each episode brought with it the real possibility that we could lose him. Watching our child struggle in the sterile hospital wards, unable to protect him from the cruel whims of fate, was nothing short of heartbreaking.
As if this weren’t enough, Franek’s list of medical challenges continued to grow. Diagnoses piled up: necrotizing enterocolitis, anemia, respiratory failure, jaundice, and suspected short bowel syndrome. During his second surgery, a section of his intestine had to be removed, and he required intravenous feeding to survive. Every new complication, every additional procedure, tested his fragile body and our emotional limits. There were moments when hope felt impossible, and yet Franek never stopped fighting.

Even now, several months after those initial traumatic days, our journey has only just begun. Franek remains under constant medical supervision. Hospital visits are frequent, tests are endless, and uncertainty hangs over us every day. We are awaiting another surgery, which will mark yet another chapter in our battle to ensure his survival and health. Afterward, we know that long-term treatment and extensive rehabilitation will be essential to help him grow, develop, and gain the strength he needs to live a full life. The financial burden is already overwhelming, but we refuse to give up.
Our son deserves a chance to thrive, to play, to grow strong, and to experience the joy of childhood. Every day, we see glimpses of his incredible resilience—small victories, tiny smiles, the faintest flicker of strength in his hands and feet. These moments remind us why we cannot falter, why we must continue fighting on his behalf. Franek has already shown us that he is a fighter, and now it is our responsibility to ensure he has every opportunity to succeed.

We reach out to the kindness of people everywhere, asking for support. Every contribution, every gesture of generosity, every shared message of hope brings us closer to providing Franek with the care he so desperately needs. Funds will go toward medical treatment, upcoming surgeries, long-term therapies, and rehabilitation—all critical to giving him a fighting chance at life and proper development.
The road ahead is long, but with love, dedication, and the support of those willing to stand with us, we believe Franek can overcome the obstacles before him. Our family’s hope rests not only on his courage but also on the compassion of those who understand that a child’s life is worth every effort, every sacrifice, every act of kindness.

Please help us give Franek the chance to grow, to heal, and to live the life he deserves. Your support is more than financial assistance—it is hope, it is love, and it is a lifeline to a tiny boy who has already endured more than anyone should have to face.
With all our love and gratitude,
Franek’s Parents
