Real Madrid has flatly rejected a €350 million offer from Al Hilal for Kylian Mbappé, stating that the French superstar is non-negotiable.
Real Madrid’s Unhesitating Rejection
Real Madrid reportedly received a world-record transfer offer of €350 million for Kylian Mbappé from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal. However, the Spanish giants immediately rejected it without hesitation.

According to Fichajes, Real Madrid’s leadership stated that Mbappé’s departure “will not be negotiated” at any price. The reason given is that “some sporting values cannot be measured solely in money.” Selling the French forward is seen as seriously undermining the sporting project built around him and affecting the club’s global stature.

Besides the huge transfer fee, the offer for Mbappé himself is also very attractive, with a salary reportedly reaching €300 million per year, higher than Cristiano Ronaldo’s current salary and making him the highest-paid player in the world. However, Real Madrid still has no intention of entering into negotiations.
Saudi Pro League’s Strategy
Al Hilal’s move shows its ambition to find a “generational icon” capable of attracting audiences and major sponsors. This comes as the Saudi Pro League is reportedly planning to cut investment in the transfer market in the future.
The league is also about to witness the first wave of departures of its big-name stars. Karim Benzema’s contract expires next summer, while Cristiano Ronaldo’s deal ends in 2027. Despite a trend toward recruiting younger players at sustainable costs, world-class stars like Mbappé remain top targets to maintain the league’s appeal.

Other potential targets
Although a Mbappé deal is unlikely, the Saudi Pro League could still return to other targets from Real Madrid. Vinícius Jr., who previously received strong interest, could be approached again next summer if a contract extension is not reached.
Furthermore, Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain. The Egyptian star could receive an offer to move to Saudi Arabia as early as the January transfer window.
