12/8/2025 — Today marks a significant milestone in the journey of our brave little Mylah Louise. It’s surgery day, and at just two weeks old, our precious girl will undergo her first
open heart surgery. This is a day we’ve been preparing for, a day filled with emotions we can barely put into words. There’s a mixture of hope, love, anxiety, and unwavering faith as we prepare to entrust Mylah to the skilled hands of her medical team.
At 7:30 AM today, Mylah will be wheeled into the operating room, where her heart will be repaired, and we will wait in quiet anticipation, holding our breath with each passing minute. This surgery is her first of what may be many, but we take comfort knowing that she is a warrior — our
little princess, strong beyond her years, and ready to fight with all the strength she has.
The emotions we are feeling today are overwhelming. As parents, it’s impossible to describe the feeling of seeing your child so tiny, so fragile, about to undergo such a major procedure. The intensity of this moment is difficult to comprehend, but what we know for certain is that
