Community members are rallying in support, offering assistance with medical expenses and keeping the family in their thoughts and prayers.
My daughter Paris was recently hospitalized for blood clots in her arm and a severe infection that affected her eye, causing it to swell. While she was in the hospital, Paris suffered a seizure that led to cardiac arrest. Her heart stopped twice, with the longest episode lasting 20 minutes. Thankfully, the doctors were able to revive her, but right now Paris is in the ICU on the highest level of life support. Her heart is beating, but it’s still weak, and her lungs are very fragile.
This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family. I am caring for my two other children while Paris remains in the hospital, and due to her extended stay, I have lost my job. The stress and uncertainty have been overwhelming, but I am doing everything I can to stay strong for my kids.
I am asking for prayers and any donations you can offer. The funds will help with transportation back and forth to the hospital, babysitting for my other two children, bills, and other necessities my kids may need.
