A 12-week-old pup showed its loyalty by staying beside its sister who passed away due to a vehicular accident. The grief-stricken pup stayed with her kin for 48 hours until a compassionate individual gave her sibling a proper burial.

According to eyewitnesses in Pixian County, which is located in Sichuan Province in southwest China, two dogs were seen lying on the road. One of the dogs was grey and the other was brown.

For several days, a brown puppy protected a grey puppy from getting hit by cars by jumping up and barking whenever a vehicle came close. They remained in the same spot until a kind individual rescued them and brought them to safety by the roadsid

A different bystander proceeded to create a pit in order to give the grey dog a proper burial. Unfortunately, the other dog was so attached to its companion that it hesitated to leave and ended up following its sibling into the hole as well.

At last, the brown canine has been rescued by staff members of a local animal welfare organization who are currently taking good care of it.

Today, pets offer companionship, emotional support, reduced feelings of loneliness, and reduced stress levels. It also contributes to high self-esteem and positive emotions, especially for children. And although many people enjoy the company of their dog or cat and would never think of getting rid of their pet, consider it a family member. However, in many cases coexistence between humans and animals is not always successful and in some cases the relationship does not work out, when the family is committed, adoption is their last resort.
