Kitty was found аЬапdoпed at just one day old by a kind passerby, who immediately brought her to the Battersea Cats and Dogs Home in England. To ensure she was cared for and had a companion, the staff decided to pair her with Buttons, who had also been left behind by his mother due to her frail condition. Together, they found the love and comfort they deѕрeгаteɩу needed, proving that true friendship knows no bounds, not even between a dog and a cat.
Buttons and Kitty have been inseparable, like sisters, ever since they grew up together.
Buttons was аЬапdoпed by his mother because she was too weak and thin to care for him.
They became inseparable best friends. Even when Kitty was moved to the cat shelter, Buttons cried.
The veterinary nurse at the center shared that the pair always ate, slept, and played together. She said, “Usually, we have to separate cats and dogs, but we decided to let them live together since they were so small. Thankfully, they bonded and started doing everything together.”
Buttons’ mother, Poppy, was brought to the center in Old Windsor, Berks, because her elderly owner couldn’t mапаɡe her, especially with a litter of eight puppies on the way.
When Kitty was taken away, Buttons cried.
But when Buttons was born, he was so tiny. His mother, Poppy, аЬапdoпed him and showed no interest in his well-being. Fearing for his safety among his seven siblings, the nurses decided to separate him.
