Adley was born with Merconium Aspiration Syndrome, a serious condition in which a newborn inhales a mixture of meconium and amniotic fluid during delivery. This condition led to pulmonary hypertension, a dangerous complication affecting her lungs and heart. Immediately after birth, Adley was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). However, the hospital did not have the specialized resources required to save her life.

Recognizing the urgency of her condition, the doctors quickly arranged for Adley to be flown out of state to Salt Lake City, where she could receive advanced care and be placed on an ECMO machine. ECMO, or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, is a life-saving procedure that supports the heart and lungs when they are too weak to function on their own. Adley was placed on this machine to give her the best chance at survival.
After a week on ECMO, Adley was able to come off the machine — a milestone that brought hope and relief to our family. However, she remains on a ventilator and other supportive devices to help her tiny body heal and gradually take over the work of breathing on her own. The road to recovery is uncertain; she could be in the hospital for weeks or even months. Each day is filled with both hope and anxiety as we watch her fight for every breath, every heartbeat, and every small improvement.

Being states apart from my daughter has been one of the hardest challenges of my life. Not being able to hold her, comfort her, and provide the love she needs in person is heartbreaking. Every moment away from her feels like an eternity. Traveling back and forth to be by her side is essential, but it also brings significant financial strain on top of the mounting medical bills.
This GoFundMe is a way for friends, family, and compassionate members of the community to support Adley and me during this critical time. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps cover medical expenses, travel costs, lodging, and daily necessities, allowing me to focus entirely on being with my daughter and supporting her recovery. Beyond financial assistance, your prayers, messages of encouragement, and positive thoughts provide emotional strength and hope, reminding us that we are not alone in this fight.

Adley’s journey is a testament to courage, resilience, and the power of love. Despite her fragile condition, she has already shown remarkable strength, surviving life-threatening complications and responding to life-saving interventions. Every stable heartbeat, every breath, and every small sign of progress is a reminder of her determination and her will to survive.
I humbly ask that you keep Adley in your thoughts and prayers. Your support — whether financial or emotional — makes a meaningful difference, helping ensure that she receives the care, attention, and love she needs. Each donation brings me closer to being able to be by her side, hold her, and provide the comfort and reassurance that only a mother can give.

Adley is more than her diagnosis. She is a tiny warrior fighting for her life, and with the love and support of family, friends, and community, she has the best chance to recover, grow stronger, and thrive. Together, we can give her the tools, care, and support she needs to face this critical journey and emerge healthier, stronger, and full of life.
Thank you for taking the time to read Adley’s story. Your generosity, prayers, and encouragement bring hope, love, and comfort to our family in a time of incredible need. With your help, we can ensure that my little warrior has the best chance to heal, grow, and live a full, happy life.
