Liverpool has secured its first transfer agreement of 2026 by adding a new defender, Ifeanyi Ndukwe, to their squad.

The Anfield club was the biggest spender in the Premier League during the summer of 2025. Liverpool spent heavily on players like Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, and Hugo Ekitike, but they currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, 12 points behind league leaders Arsenal.
Liverpool has returned to the transfer market and reached an agreement to sign Ifeanyi Ndukwe in the summer of 2026. Ndukwe, 17, will join the Merseyside club after the season ends, with the contract becoming effective in July.
