Real chooses 150 million euro star to replace Rodrygo
Real Madrid turns its attention to Desire Doue, PSG’s promising right winger.
According to Fichajes, coach Xabi Alonso and new signing Kylian Mbappe have both expressed their desire to sign Doue to the Real Madrid board, considering him the perfect piece for the plan to renew the attack of “Los Blancos”.
Joining PSG from Rennes for a large transfer fee and a contract until 2029, Doue quickly proved his worth. In his first season with the capital team, he left a strong impression with a brilliant performance in the Champions League final, scoring two goals and assisting one to help PSG defeat Inter Milan. His impressive form has made the player born in 2005 the most sought-after name in Europe.
For Real Madrid, Doue is part of the club’s long-term vision. He can play well on both wings, even taking on the role of “false 9”, a factor that Xabi Alonso highly values. The Spanish Royal team believes that the combination of Vinícius Jr – Mbappe – Doue, along with Franco Mastantuono in a reserve role, can create an attack rich in speed, technique and creativity, enough to stir up any defense in Europe.
However, PSG is not easy in this deal. The French team sees Doue as the core of a long-term sports project. The price that PSG set is up to 150 million euros, making this possibly the most expensive deal in Real Madrid history.
In addition, to pave the way for the Doue deal, the Royal team will likely have to sell Brahim Diaz or Rodrygo, both to balance finances and create space in the squad.
