Yaciendo bajo la lluvia al costado del camino, sin moverse… solo esperaba que alguien viniera y lo salvara.h

As  I was driving, I saw a dog lying down. Something about him made me think he was in trouble. So I turned around. I went to check on him. When I caught up, he was lying next to the road in a rain puddle. He looked like he’d given up, as if to say, “I can’t take it anymore!”

“I could see you were suffering,” I said. “Is there anything we can do to help? Don’t give up yet! I’m here for you, even if you feel uncomfortable,” Fahrudin assured him.

Fahrudin took the dog to the vet immediately. The vet will perform X-rays to determine if he has any fractures or internal injuries. Those are his concerns.

There is hope for Maddox; that’s what they called him. After consultations with professionals, spinal surgery will be performed in a clinic despite the challenges that may be faced in saving his life.

“Maddox is about to face his battle. He will meet with a surgeon who will perform the procedure and try to give Maddox a fighting chance.

He showed so much intelligence and awareness that it seemed as if he knew everything and where they were going.

Without delay, they rushed him to the operating room and the preparation area. Maddox had his surgery! He’s now sleeping peacefully after waking up. He’s relaxing.

An initial postoperative evaluation will be conducted in the following two to three days to determine if you are experiencing pain. If you respond to the “scissor pinch,” there is a 50% chance that, with practice, you will regain the ability to walk.

Due to the severity of his spinal cord injury, it’s highly unlikely Maddox will ever walk again. There have been cases of spinal cord injuries with comparable damage. But his life goes on! We’ll make sure he has access to a wheelchair.

It’s been six days since the operation! The prognosis is grim. Her vertebrae were crushed. Instead of their natural gray color, her spinal cord looked blue. The damaged vertebra was removed. The intense pain and discomfort are no longer present.

Unfortunately, estimates suggest that Maddox will need a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Sometimes amazing things can happen! People try to do things that seem impossible. In reality, nothing is truly impossible.

Maddox’s progress is truly remarkable. After 16 days, he’s already showing signs of improvement. He’s managed to find his balance and stand. However, this is just the beginning. The plan is to return him to his cage in an hour. We’ll see how it goes.

It’s important not to place all your faith in miracles. However, it’s also worth recognizing that extraordinary things can happen. The veterinarian remains hopeful. He believes Maddox’s fighting spirit will help him regain his ability to walk.
